Alexandra Robertson

Alexandra is a writer who experiences the world through storytelling. She is drawn to creating immersive worlds, places both she and her readers can disappear into for a while. While fiction is her primary focus, she also works across forms, including poetry, Q&A interviews, documentary filmmaking, and essays.

Her work often explores complicated family dynamics, romantic relationships, and the ways in which travel shapes how people understand themselves and others. When possible, she loves to create an immersive setting for her reader.

Alexandra has lived in Toronto, Rome, Athens, Sydney, Melbourne and NYC.

When she’s not writing, she travels frequently as both a tourist and fashion model. She is represented by Elite, Anita Norris, Cult Athens, and Silhouette Melbourne, and has walked in New York Fashion Week and modelled for Vogue. When she’s home in New York, she can often be found walking through Central Park with her rescue dog, Rufus.
